No Charge, No Time Limit
Natural, Effortless, Effective, Deep
With 50 years of daily meditation, I have studied and practiced a number of approaches to meditation. For the last 15 years, I have settled into the method I use now. I believe it is the easiest, most effective method available to anyone. This is the one I teach. I help a person get started with a solid foundation and support as time goes on with an understanding of the ways the mind can resist your best intentions.
We can also look at other methods and ways of accessing the peace, deep rest, and creativity within. My purpose is to help you find your way that you practice and also have available throughout the day.

My investigation into the meaning of life, my true nature, and the path to joy and fulfillment began with some profound experiences in the “60s. I began meditating daily, went to India, and spent three months in an ashram with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. I became a certified teacher of Transcendental Meditation, and was the first resident teacher in Austin Texas.
Some years after that, I wanted a more serious commitment and started on a path that meant I spent the next 19 years getting up at 4:30am, 7 days a week, to meditate for 2 1/2 hours.
After that, I taught and led groups and then, finally, just regarded myself as a free agent and have been living, learning, enjoying and being grateful.
Most of this was in the background, as all of these practices encouraged balance and integration in regular affairs and society. I have raised a family, worked and owned businesses, and generally lived a normal, regular life. -With the ups and downs, challenges and successes, joys and sorrows, that most of us go through.
I went through coach training in the mid 90’s, had a small practice, but felt the pull to get back into business, which I did for another 12 years. At that time, my partners and I had one of the largest companies in our niche in the nation.
I have trained in a number of self development modalities. I will be there for you, giving you that extra perspective to heal, come more alive, and actualize your true potential.
I also have practiced martial arts, studying a number of different styles, since the 70’s. For the last 25 years, I have included the internal arts, particularly tai chi, and still regularly play tai chi push hands weekly. For fifteen years I was fairly obsessed with Argentine tango, dancing 3-4 times a week. These days, I love taking walks in the woods or urban environments, honing my connection with life through photography.
I am grateful for all of this and the lessons learned, whether it fell into my lap or knocked me to the ground.
